| ]Painted "en plein air" at Sedona's Red Rock Crossing over three leisurely sessions including wades in the creek and much poetry writing. A good way to paint! This painting is one of my best most rewarding experiences with outdoor painting ever, with special thanks to the inspired mentoring of Clive Pates.
Featured at the Sedona Arts Center gallery's May 2010 show, "A Step Beyond." If you are interested in purchasing it, you may reserve it prior to the show opening.
I consider it one of my best plein air pieces. It is painted on oil on shellaced paper (an archival technique used by Toulouse LaTrec) and is framed under glass.
